Start of Term 4 2020
Online Learning resumes for all Year levels on Monday 5 October 2020.
All students are required to log in to classes starting Monday 5 October as they have been during Stage 4 Restrictions.
VCE students, completing Unit 3 or Unit 4 subjects, will be attending the College on Wednesday 7 October 2020 to complete the GAT (General Achievement Test). Students are to arrive at school by 9.30 am. The GAT will run from 10.00 am to 1.15 pm.
Year 11 & 12 VCAL students, Year 11 & 12 VCE students and Year 10 students completing VCE subjects will commence classes on site at Nazareth College commencing Week 2, Monday 12 October 2020.
All students from Years 7-10 in metropolitan Melbourne will continue with remote and flexible learning. A date for the return of these year levels to face-to-face learning will be subject to further health advice.
When students do return for Term 4 2020 the College Summer Uniform applies. Please refer to the Student Organiser if there are any questions about uniform requirements. All the usual College expectations for hair, jewellery, piercings, uniform etc will apply from the start of face to face teaching. Please ensure you are prepared for this.
Trivia Night
On Tuesday 15 September 2020 our very own Mitchel Berryman hosted a very successful Zoom Trivia Night as a community building and fundraising activity. A big thank you to all families who participated and to Mitchel for his great effort in presenting and all the work he put into preparing for the night.
Calendar
As restrictions hopefully loosen up, and as things become a little clearer, we will advise of any adjustments to the end of year program . We are endeavouring to do all we can to be able to mark significant events and celebrations in an appropriate form that is within the restrictions placed upon us at this time. We will let you know more when Term 4 2020 commences and hopefully we will see some changes to the current restrictions.
School Holidays
We hope the school holidays are a time of rest and recreation for our students and families. It has been a very tiring term for our students with online learning, so we hope there is some time to rest, get outdoors and off screens and enjoy the outdoors.
A reminder that Thursday 17 September 2020 is the last day of classes for Term 3. We are excited about the prospect of being able to have more students on campus next term.
