Project Utopia

This fortnight saw the continuation of Project Utopia which runs throughout Term 3.

Each week, our Year 7 students work during InnovatED, in teams, to develop liveable cities that adhere to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The teams receive visitors each week that bring real world experience and questions, so their projects iteratively improve, whilst also benefiting from an invaluable and rich learning experience in the process.

This fortnight we welcomed:

Hon Ken Wyatt AM MP: Minister for Indigenous Australians

Shaz Rind: Managing Director, Arra Energy

Professor Donna Cross: Professor with the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at UWA, Head of the Health Promotion and Education Research Team at the Telethon Kids Institute, and a member of the College's Djoowak: The Beyond Boundaries Advisory Group

Simon te Brinke: Founder and Digital Communications Strategy Lead of Gramercy Park Consulting, and Deputy Chairperson of Nulsen Group.

Thank you to these visitors for sharing their time and knowledge with our students. Watch the videos below to see what happened in Weeks 5 and 6 of InnovatED.
