Student Acceptable Use of Technology Agreement

All students should have now received a printed copy of the Student Acceptable Use of Technology Agreement to take home. An email has also been sent with the attachment for your reference.

As part of a review of policy regarding the use of digital technology within the school setting, St Philomena’s has developed a revised Student Acceptable Use of Technology Agreement. The aim of this agreement is to inform students, and parents of students, enrolled at St Philomena’s about the safe and acceptable use of digital technology for learning within the school setting. It also clearly outlines the expectations and responsibilities of staff, students and parents aligned with the use of digital technology.

This agreement will become part of the enrolment process for St Philomena’s. Parents will be required to sign this agreement only once, which will cover the period of their child’s enrolment (unless any revision of the agreement be required).

At this point, St Philomena’s requires a signed copy of this agreement for ALL STUDENTS CURRENTLY ENROLLED AT ST PHILOMENA’S. We ask that parents take the time to speak with their children regarding the expectations outlined in this document prior to signing. All students over the age of 10 years are also required to sign this document.

Please sign and return this agreement to the office as soon as possible.
