Years 7, 8 & 9 End of Term Rewards

At Staughton College, we are rewarding students who consistently display the correct behaviours as per our Behaviour Matrix, maintaining high attendance, and improvement in their learning.

This term, students who meet the criteria below in Years 7, 8, and 9 will be invited to watch a film in the multi function room during the last week of school. This is a great incentive for students, and we encourage all students to continue to discuss their learning progress with each of their teachers throughout the term to ensure they are working hard to improve during their On Demand testing this term.

To ensure attendance over 90%, students who miss school need to attend Homework Club to make up any absence. Homework Club runs for Monday – Thursday after school in the library till 4:00 pm. This is also a great way to catch up work missed in class or to complete homework in a quiet environment.

To be invited, students are required to meet the following criteria for Term 3

  • Improvement in their On Demand test
  • 90% attendance rate, and
  • No incident or buddy reports throughout the term

Teaching and Learning together with Student Operations would like to congratulate those students who attended in Term 2 and encourage all junior school students to set this as their goal for Term 3.
