Meet the Teacher Night
The Meet the Teacher Night and Family Barbecue will be held on Wednesday 13th February 2019 at 6pm at our Bundoora Campus. A sausage sizzle will be provided before the Meet the Teacher meetings where sausages in bread and water will be provided free of charge. The barbecue will be held on the school oval from 6.00 until 6.30pm. You will be able to meet your child's Teacher at 6:30pm.
The Meet the Teacher Night at our Watsonia Campus will be held on the same evening at Watsonia, beginning at 7pm. The Welcome to Watsonia Campus BBQ will be held on Friday 1st of March from 6.15-8:15
At the Meet the Teacher session you will be given the opportunity to meet your child’s teacher and to receive important information relevant to the education of your child during 2018. This year we have also sent home a questionnaire to help us get to know your child more quickly. Please complete the questionnaire before the evening and return it to your child's classroom teacher.
We look forward to meeting with you on the night.
Parent/Carer Volunteer Induction Sessions
We will be holding two Parent/Carer Volunteer Induction Sessions in March.
- Monday 18th March – evening session to be held at Bundoora Campus (Discovery Centre) at 5pm.
- Tuesday 19th March – morning session to be held at Watsonia Campus (Multi-Purpose Room) at 9.15am.
Anyone wishing to volunteer at our school will be required to attend one of these sessions. Due to the OH&S aspect needing to be completed yearly, if you have attended a session last year, you will be required to stay for the initial part of the session only.
Meet our New Staff- Jamie Hollingsworth
What is your role at Concord School? I am a PreCAL 7/8 teacher!
Provide us with a ‘snapshot’ into your daily routine at Concord School: When I arrive at school I have a chat with my PreCAL 7/8 teaching partner Fiona and then jump into printing, photocopying and preparing all of the fun learning activities that are planned for the day.
What do you love most about working at Concord School? Building relationships with the students and working alongside such a dedicated staff.
