Friendly Reminders

We ask parents and students to revisit our schools ‘Show Me Five’ expectations as this is essential in settling our Foundation students back to school.

 

Parent Helpers- If you would like to assist with our reading, writing or math block please let your classroom teacher know. We will be setting up a roster which we would like to go out week 2. Please ensure you have a current working with childrens check.  

 

Our library days will continue from Semester One. Foundation B - Tuesdays.  Foundation D - Fridays. 

 

Specialist and PMP - Foundation students are to wear full sports uniform on Tuesdays and Fridays. 

Homework

Students are to continue reading for 10 minutes a night and practicing their M100 words as allocated by their classroom teacher. Please record reading in your child’s reading journal. We will be following our timetable from Semester One in regards to changing readers/testing words.

 

100 Days of Foundation! 

This term the Foundation students will be celebrating 100 days of school!!! This will be held on Monday the 25th of July. Students are encouraged to dress up as 100 year olds for this day. We will be celebrating this achievement with lots of fun activities. We will also be celebrating our 100 Days with a whole school assembly on Friday 5th August at 2.30pm. We invite parents to attend this. More information will be sent out via Skoolbag.

Special Dates

25/7 - 100 Days of Foundation - Students will be dressing up for this day.

26/7 - Students finish at 1:30pm - Student Led Conferences from 2:00 pm - 8pm

27/7 - Student Led Conferences 4pm - 6pm

29/7 - School Disco

5/11-  Foundation 100 Days Assembly, 2.30pm

11/8 - Foundation Stay At School Night, 3:15 to 5pm

Topic: A drawing of your family.

Topic: Bring or talk about something that is in the shape of a cube or sphere.
