MCS Celebrates

Snowplanet's vision is to offer a unique opportunity for school aged students to participate in active play in an encouraging and adventurous environment. 

At MCS we want to increase the confidence of our students so they feel more willing and capable to take part in new experiences with confidence. 

We received an opportunity to take 30 children to Snowplanet last week. These children were able to further develop their key competencies in the following ways. 

• Participating and contributing 
• Confidence
• Have fun
• Leadership, team building, supporting, and helping each other.
• Building resilience to persevere in the light of a new or unfamiliar tasks
• Create a love for learning using this unique environment as a stimulus.
• Develop resilience and trust
• Demonstrate willingness to accept challenges, learn new skills and strategies, and extend their abilities in movement-related activities.
• Experience and demonstrate how science, technology, and the environment influences the selection and use of equipment in a variety of settings.
