Message from the Principal

St Anthony’s Parish and St Anthony’s School hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as central and fundamental responsibilities of the Church.

St Anthony’s is fully compliant with all policies in relation to Child Safety. These documents ensure compliance with the Victorian Government Child Safety Standards which took effect on 1 January 2017 and reflect our Parish's ongoing commitment to ensuring that all children are safe, happy and empowered.

Hello Families and Friends of St Anthony's,

St Anthony's Students Painting the Town Blue and Teal

Last week Ms T and Lisa took a group of students to work on a public mural as part of 'The Noble Park Revitalisation Project'. The art installation is part of a plan to brighten the community landscape. The mural is located at Leonard Avenue in Noble Park and looks simply amazing.

Kinder Visits

As part of reaching out to our local community our student leaders have started visiting local kindergartens. So far they have been to Alfred Street and Heatherhill Kinders. The students have loved meeting and working with the Kinder children and they have loved having us there. I thank Miss Lim, Lisa and Debbie for assisting with these visits.

Meet the Principal Conversations for Prep 2023

Over the past few weeks I have meet many of the children who will be starting Prep in 2023. It has been wonderful getting to know each and every one of them and their families. Each child that I meet draws me a lovely picture and there are certainly some budding artists among them! A friendly reminder for any families with a child ready for school to collect an enrolment pack from the school office.

St Anthony's Feast Day

As St Anthony's Day is on the Monday of the long weekend we will celebrate at a later stage. As a school we will be attending Church for a Special St Anthony's Mass on Thursday 23rd June, at 9.30am. Then on Friday 24th June (the last day of term) we will have a special St Anthony's Day that will be filled with lots of fun activities for all. Students will be able to wear casual clothes that are suitable for craft and physical activities.

School finishes at 2.30pm on Friday 24th June.

Staffing News

Our wonderful school office lady Karen has resigned from her position at St Anthony’s. Sadly, she will finish at the end of this term. Karen has been at St Anthony’s for 9 years and during this time worked with 3 principals. She has been an amazing teacher to myself and helped me navigate the financial & administrative side of my role.

Karen has been a friendly face and support for all students, families and staff. She has always assisted those who need payslip advice, super advice and much more.

I wish Karen all the best for her new role and adventure, I hope it brings her much joy.

Have a fabulous long weekend.
