ResourceSmart School Awards Announcement

One week to go!

There is only a week to go before the announcement of the State winners of ResouceSmart School awards.   We are very excited to have a small delegation of children from Years 3-6 be attending who have all been involved in the Eco warrior experience during their time at St Columba's.

As part of our STEAM clean the bay project our Year 3/4 Eco warriors worked with Chris Lazzaro to write and record our very own Climate Change song. It is a work that was totally student driven and the process required the children to develop, workshop, record and now perform the song and lyrics.

We have been invited to share this musical work at the awards ceremony on Thursday and Chris with a small representative group of Year 3/4s will perform it on the day.

We wish our delegates all the very best as they represent our school and have all our fingers crossed for the big announcement!
