What is your role at Concord School?

Classroom Teacher  Secondary 9/10

Provide us with a ‘snapshot’ into your daily routine at Concord School:

I arrive at about 8 to set up the classroom and get on top of emails and planning. The gang arrive at 9 and we usually begin with reading and writing. We get the writing out of the way early. The middle periods are usually something fun like electives or STEAM or social comp. After lunch we watch 10 minutes of a National Geographic documentary to chill out a bit and we end the day with maths or integrated studies as the students seem to be most engaged with those ones - even if we all a little tired by then!

 Dear Parents/ Guardians and staff,

‘Harmony Week’ saw the children participate in numerous activities  including making and traversing obstacle courses, playing cricket, and playing tiggy. These activities were designed to support team work and social cohesion within the group. Additionally- children undertook numerous colouring sheets and craft related to Star Wars, and decorated their very own pot plants, and increased their interest in the upcoming AFL footy season by creating a ladder and fixture to display on the wall. Cooking alo featured with delicious pancakes enjoyed by all.

On behalf of the team at Concord/ Watsonia Their Care- we wish all the families and staff a safe and peaceful Easter.

Kind Regards,
