2021 provides you with a new opportunity to join PRSC’s Reading Challenge. Let your imagination roam to unbelievable worlds! Embrace stories of challenges, growth and personal success. Will you grow through words? Will you challenge yourself?
Register your participation by completing an enrolment form and return it to the library or via teams to Mrs Bernardo. See attachment.
As challengers, we will meet fortnightly in the Library (usually 20 minutes or so at lunchtime).

How does the Reading Challenge work?
Students need to return their registration form to Mrs. Bernardo (Library) – to be registered.
Usernames and passwords will be generated after registration.
Students in Years 7 to 10 who accept the Challenge must read 15 books during this period and use the online system for recording books.

THE 2021 VICTORIAN PREMIER'S LITERARY AWARDS
Laura Jean McKay is the winner of the 2021 Victorian Prize for Literature for her debut novel, The Animals in That Country.
McKay’s novel, which takes place amid a pandemic that causes victims to hear the voices of animals also received the Prize for Fiction.

Have you always dreamed of becoming a successful editor or been intrigued by the world of slam poetry?
Chase your passion and join the teen writing boot camps, designed for budding writers of all skill levels!
Authors throughout March, April and May will host these creative courses. Choose from a range of topics to hone your skills, including fiction, personal voice, non-fiction, slam poetry, screen writing, and science writing.
