New Staff

 Welcome to Greensborough College!

Please welcome our newest staff members

I am 27 years old and I grew up in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne, in a town named Berwick. I am the youngest of three children.

During my secondary school VCE I was very interested in media/ design and always planned on becoming an architect. It wasn’t until 2012 when I began working in a secondary school as an Aide that I decided that I want to become a teacher. Eighteen months later, I moved to London and began working in schools for the next two years, during this time my passion and desire to become a teacher grew.

My hobbies include playing sports such as football, golf and basketball. I have a great interest in keeping fit and healthy, travelling and meeting new people.

It is my honour to join Greensborough College as a Finance Officer.

I used to work at the front desk at the Blackburn English School. I have also worked as a Multicultural Education Aide at Bundoora Secondary College, this was my first role with the DET.

Before relocating to Melbourne with my husband and two children, I had an extensive finance background serving in an international accounting firm in Beijing, China.

I speak Mandarin as my mother tongue, and Japanese as my second language. I like swimming, drawing and playing around with digital art.

I am looking forward to meeting you all.

My name is Jack Thornton - I’ve joined Greensborough College for the first term in Classroom Support.

I’ve come across from Heidelberg Primary School, where I’ve worked for five years. In my spare time, I can often be found watching sports, playing golf, or spending time around home with my family!

I’m looking forward to being a part of the GC community!
