Thrive Innovate Grants 

Encouraging innovative thinking

Do you have a great idea for a project that would improve the school? Individuals, groups and clubs can now apply for the 2021Thrive Innovate grants. There are 10 grants of $500 each.

The Northcote Thrive Fund: Innovate exists to encourage and embrace innovative thinking at Northcote High School. Applications to the Fund are open to students or staff members – either individuals or groups - who would like to propose new, creative and different ways of doing things that will benefit the school. Funds are to be used to research and advance or implement the proposed projects. Applications will be assessed on the following criteria: 

1. Alignment with the Northcote High School vision, values and community standards 

2. Level of innovation, originality and creative thinking in the proposed project 

3. Potential for sustained benefit to Northcote students or the community from the project 4. Capacity of the applicant/group to deliver the outcomes described in the project 

5. Demonstrated capacity for responsible planning and management of project resources 

All applications by students must be supported by a teacher/staff member or other responsible adult who will undertake to provide regular guidance and mentoring throughout the project. Successful applicants will share their process and project outcomes with the Thrive committee and other sections of the school community.
