Successful Night of Music

Congratulations to all of the students involved in the ‘Night of Music’ which was held on June 20 in the hall.  It was a wonderful concert with a wide range of items.  It was fantastic hear our very own string group playing Pachelbel’s Canon.  We also heard the items that had competed in the Cowra Eisteddfod.  Many class items from Stage 5 and Year 11 Music were also performed, along with the auditioned items.  Perhaps one of the highlights of the night was the staff item - many talents have been revealed!! 

Everyone is looking forward to the next ‘Night of Music’ which will be happening in December.  I wonder what the surprise will be!

Practise What You Teach (PWYT)

Congratulations to Linda Chant who was selected to have her artworks exhibited at the Chrissy Cotter Gallery in Camperdown as part of the PWYT initiative. This organisation aims to support and encourage teachers in staying in touch with their creative interests and the contemporary art world, and to support professional development and networking.

The exhibition runs from July 11 to July 22.
