SIS Write a Book in Day

College Zone Winners

On Thursday 17 October, Mr Perry’s Golden Pen Team headed to St Johns College by bus to the SIS Write A Book In A Day awards ceremony.

The afternoon kicked off with some Lit-Trivia (trivia about literature) which was a great and a fun way to start the afternoon.

We  then began the award presentations our book (The Emotional Bear) was nominated in the category of best use of prompts. But unfortunately, we lost. It then was finals time. They  announced the winner of each zone. We were the winners of our zone, which consisted of Cornish College, St James College, Nazareth College and St John's College. We were very happy to be involved an cannot wait till next year.

We would also like to thank Mr Perry for helping us to get to where we are now.
