Hamilton Eisteddfod

The Hamilton Eisteddfod commences Monday 3rd June running through until Saturday 8th June.  The Dance section commences Monday 10th June and runs through until Sunday 16th June.  Full programs are now available and students are asked to check their entries and performance day and time.  Attached is the Eisteddfod Music Running sheet with College ensemble performance times.  College Ensemble entrants are highlighted.  All sections are held at the Hamilton Performing Arts Centre in Brown Street.

2019 Ensemble Sections to Note:

• Wednesday afternoon – String Orchestras, Concert Bands and Chamber Groups
• Wednesday evening –         Jazz Combo and String Chamber Groups

Student arrival at 6:30pm for 7pm start

• Thursday morning – Primary School Choirs
• Thursday afternoon – Year 5 Multi Instrumental Ensemble
• Thursday evening – All Senior School Choirs.  Student arrival at 6:30pm for 7pm start

Singers Soiree

A Soiree showcasing performances from singing students of the College will be held on Thursday 6th June in the Simons Auditorium commencing at 4pm.  Mr Joseph Beckitt will be in residence as our accompanist for the afternoon, offering all our students an opportunity to rehearse and perform in our fine hall.  Whilst this is a busy week the opportunity to work with Mr Beckitt will provide valuable experience for the singing sections of the Eisteddfod in the following days.
