Zoololgy Incursion

On Wednesday the 9th of May our year 7 students were involved in a Zoology Incursion. Qualified zoologists brought a range of Australian animals to present to our science classes. This was a fun and hands-on way for them to learn about how animals are classified, what they eat and how they adapt for survival. Students were able to touch and hold a range of animals including turtles, frogs, lizards, a tawny frog mouth, snakes and even a crocodile!

Students had great fun interacting with the rangers from the Wild Action  Group. It was great to see the students having some really deep and meaningful discussions with the rangers, learning about kingdoms and levels of classification. As you can see from the photos they had an awesome time.
