GSSC New Build Update

As we welcome students back to school, our college leadership team of principals and assistant principals had the opportunity to tour their future home. Structural work on all new GSSC buildings is largely complete with learning spaces now being fitted out with modern classroom amenities. With strict on-site health measures only recently easing, it was the first opportunity for the wider leadership team to see the new college and visualise its many staff and student features in action. There were many "wow" moments, like the specialised classrooms, roof top gardens and arched main entry that doubles as tiered seating for the performing arts space. The site is expected to offer a number of learning opportunities for students as construction is completed this year for a 2022 opening.
