McClelland Academy Program (MAP) News 

A Very Happy Return to our MAPs - at last!!!

In Musical Theatre MAP, we get to experience many exciting things. We learn about all areas of stagecraft including singing, dancing, acting, costume, hair and makeup, lighting and sound, music, directing and so much more all through very educational and fun workshops.

We get to learn from professionals in the industry and even get to see live theatre which is always such a highlight of this MAP.

In Musical Theatre MAP we get to pitch, write and produce our very own musical and whether students want to be performing on stage or working backstage, everyone has a chance to contribute to the musical.

This MAP teaches lots of important skills such as cooperation, leadership, problem solving and creative thinking that are not only important for musical theatre but are also valuable in all aspects of life. In this Map we are always supportive and supported by our amazing teachers and fellow peers and that leaves us overall feeling free to express ourselves and our ideas. Musical Theatre MAP is heaps of fun and I definitely recommend it!
