School Banking thank you and farewell!

Dear Malvern Primary Community,  

This is a quick note to say thank you for your support of School Banking over the years. I know that all of the children that have participated over the years have learnt valuable lessons in regards to saving. 

The team was very sorry not to be able to continue this year due to COVID.  

I would like to thank Trish Linardakis and Paola Raftopoulos for their ongoing support over the years. Thank you again for your support.

On behalf of Malvern Primary School and all the students past and present, we would like to thank Rebecca, Trish and Paola for all their hard work and dedication towards the school banking and wish them and their families all the best in the future. 

This is an end of an era as school banking has been an institution in primary schools for decades. The Department have now changed their policy in regards to school banking, therefore this service will no longer be offered in government schools from 2021.
