Maths Boot Camp 2020

I would like to thank Ms Wang, Ms Lim, Miss Dao, Ms Tersigni, Mr Ó Grádaigh and Ms Teo for kindly giving up their time after school to organise the Maths Boot Camp this year.

Feedback from Year 6 students regarding our Boot Camp are as follows:

In Term 4, from Week 2 to 6, I attended the Year Six Mathematics Boot Camp at St Norbert College.  My teacher was Ms Wang. I have learnt some new concepts in Mathematics and also made new friends. I am very grateful to my teacher for giving her time to prepare us for a smooth transition to Year 7 Mathematics.

The experience I had in this educational boot camp was amazing. I learnt lots of facts and it is very fun. I am grateful to Ms Wang to teach us for five weeks.

I feel good about Maths Boot Camp because I have made new friends and I feel comfortable to enter Year 7.  I really enjoyed attending this camp as Ms Lim is a fun and nice teacher. It was good attending this camp as I got to learn new concepts which will be helpful for Year 7.

Ms Lim is a teacher who explains the concepts easily. The concepts are sometimes tricky but she has a simple way of explaining them. I also have made friends so that I will know people before High school.

I think this boot camp was very good. The work was easy to understand and a good start before Year 7.

St Norbert College Mathematics Boot camp 2020 has helped me find my way around the school. I got used to the style of teaching at this school. I also made a new friend and they are in the same House.

I liked Math Boot Camp. I have made two new friends and I have learnt new concepts which I was not familiar before. I also really liked problem solving trying to make a square with different shapes. I enjoyed going to this camp.
