Making Jesus Real 

Throughout the year we invite our families to reinforce each set of social skills that are the focus for our fortnight. These social skills link with the Making Jesus Real (MJR) program in our school.

For weeks 3 & 4 of Term 1 our MJR Focus is: 

Manners:

1. Saying 'Please' when asking. 

2. Saying 'Thank you' when something is done for you.

Our MJR scripture for this fortnight is:    

‘Be wise in the way you act towards others. Your speech should always be pleasant and interesting.' Colossians 4 : 5 

St Brendan's Parish Sacramental Program 

2021 Program

We are hoping to begin the 2021 Sacramental Program with enrolments early March 2021.

The program will be suitable for all baptised children in Year 3 or older.  The Children will celebrate the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation and Eucharist.

Attached to the newsletter this week is a brochure outlining the dates for next year and also providing some general information and my contact details. 

2021/2022 Program – Introducing a new Format

If all goes well next year and we are able to complete the 2021 program on time the parish is hoping to implement a new format for the Sacramental Program.  The new program will be suitable for baptised children in Year 2 (2021) or higher.

Children enrolled in this program will celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation in Term 4 2021 and then return in 2022 to celebrate the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Eucharist.

If you would like your child to participate in the Sacramental Program but they are not baptised - Please contact the parish office ASAP.

St Brendan's Parish Bulletin - 21/02/2021 

St Brendan's Parish - Information 

• Normal Mass Times commence as of tomorrow (THURSDAY 18 FEBRUARY – 9.15am).
• Weekend Mass times as per usual.
• Still will need to wear masks indoors.
• Ashes will be distributed at the VIGIL and the Sunday Masses THIS WEEKEND – ASH SUNDAY.
• Parish OFFICE will re-open.
• Back to having weddings, funerals, baptisms according to our density limitations in the church.
• Stations of the CROSS on FRIDAY 19th FEBRUARY commence at 6pm.
