Year 3 News

Year 3

Congratulations to the Year 3 students for their excellent start to the year. They have quickly adapted to many new routines and are working on developing their independence. The first test of their independence was going shopping for their supplies and labelling all of their own items!

The students responded in an extremely positive manner to their first week of homework. We are very proud of them for their enthusiasm and hope it can last for the year!.

This week the Year 3 students were given the opportunity to trial the Junior Choir with Mrs Ratten and Ms Ullmann. This will be running every Tuesday afternoon.

This is what some students think of year 3 so far:

“ It’s amazing, I like doing all of the work and playing with different friends.” Samara

“I like my teachers and my classroom.” Zac

“I like that we get to go to choir this year and we also get to bring our own pencil cases.” Ryder

“I love that we have drawers under our tables to keep all of our books in.” Eloise

“ I like listening to Grangsta Granny during fruit break.” Zoe

“I love doing the Target Word each day.” Sonny

“I like that my classroom is so close to the playground.” Anastasia

“I like running around the oval. Mika

“I like everything, but if I had to pick one, it would be reading the books and filling out my reading journal.” Josh

“I like that it’s not too hard and it’s not too easy. “ Curtis

Thank you to all parents and students for contributing to such a positive start to the year.
