A Fantastic Start To The Year

It has been an exciting couple of weeks for the Prep children! The Prep teachers are very proud of the enthusiasm and confidence the students have shown while beginning school.

We have been starting the day with developmental play activities, giving the Preps a chance to get to know their classmates and teachers. It has been lovely to watch many new friendships develop already.

The Preps have also enjoyed spending time with their Year 5 buddies, meeting their Specialist teachers, learning how to be a ‘Great Mate’ and taking home their first Home Reading books. Exercises and dancing in the Prep Learning Centre have also been a fun highlight. You might like to ask your child to show you some of their moves! We have seen so many impressive ‘hip wiggles’ and ‘air guitars’!
