Wellbeing/Be You

Be You Day “Great mates” – Friday 5 February

Dear Parents, Guardians, Teachers and Students,

This is a special newsletter from your new Wellbeing Captains for 2021. We will make our school thrive with the extra help of Carol Ann, Mrs Patane, Teachers, Helpers, Archie and others.

As you know BNPS is a Be You School. During last Friday’s P.A. assembly (due to the rain outside), our participants from Prep-6 explained what they learnt about being a great mate.

This year, Year 6 worked together in pairs to make an amazing poster of how to be a great mate. The posters were all amazing and filled with colours. The teachers chose one group poster that stood out the most and asked them to share their poster at assembly.

We have some great tips on how to be a great mate:

  • Help them when they are sad
  • Be a kind and caring person to your mates and others
  • Always strive to be the best version of you and help you to bring out the best version of others
  • BE HAPPY AND HAVE FUN

Sincerely,

Your Wellbeing Captains – Aaliyah, Addison, Archie and Josh
