Cyber-Safety

Last week we explored the idea of ‘Cyber-Safety’ at BNPS. As an eSmart school we provide student with the skills and knowledge required for the smart, safe and responsible use of technology. Each year level looked at a specific area of cyber safety including: ‘What is real?’, ‘Online symbols’, ‘Sharing personal information online’, ‘Appropriate online content’, ‘Don’t be Fooled’ and ‘Cyber Bullying’.

On Monday of this week we celebrated some outstanding work related to our cyber-safety topics at our school assembly. Congratulations to all of the students who displayed risk-taking by getting up to share.

On a related note we would like to thank everyone who has returned their Student eSmart Agreement. Could we please ask everyone who have yet to complete the form to do so as soon as possible to facilitate your child's safe use of technology at BNPS.
