We welcomed the 2021 Preps to the art room with the celebration of the Tibetan New Year, ‘Losar’. During the session they got to create a drawing inspired by butter sculptures. 

Butter sculpture is an ancient Tibetan tradition, they are made from ‘dri’ the female Yak’s butter., and dye are used to create beautiful colourful symbols for Losar.

Thank You Casper

Casper has donated a smaller canvas print of his Gruffalo painting which he  did as home last year as part of his homework.  The original was taken by a lady who is fighting to save/protect Victorian forests.  The Art teachers are planning on hanging this in our Library.  Thank you Casper!
