Subject selection 2020

Subject selection for students in Years 8-12 in 2020 has now been completed. Both the Senior and Middle School Information Nights and Subject Expos were very well attended and have assisted students in the important, but at times daunting, task of selecting their pathway and program for 2020.

Course confirmation interviews have taken place for students in Year 10 who are entering either the VCE or VCAL program. The Curriculum Team has also been busy following up with students around their 2020 program. Acceleration requests are currently being processed. Once this is completed we will begin the process of constructing our 2020 timetable grids. We anticipate this will be completed by early Term 4. Students will then be informed of their 2020 program.

Curriculum Day 2019

Monday 16th September will be a Pupil Free Day as our teachers and Learning Enhancement Team will spend the day participating in our 2019 Curriculum Day. 

The theme for Curriculum Day is “We are all teachers of literacy”.  Associate Professor Misty Adoniou will present to our teachers on Language and Literacy across the Disciplines. Improving the literacy levels of all our students is our key focus in 2019 and the day has been designed to provide teachers with a greater understanding on how all teachers can improve students' literacy in their classroom, as well as strategies on how to achieve this.

We look forward to continuing to improve our professional practice and understanding on Literacy.
