EVELYN YEH - A PUBLISHED CHILDREN’S AUTHOR!
Since Evelyn Yeh (Year 8) was nine years old she has dreamed of becoming a writer. This dream has become a reality! During primary school Evelyn wrote a short story titled ‘Henry’. This fantastic book has recently been published!
As a school community we are all extremely proud of Evelyn's outstanding achievement.

YOUNG CARDIOVASCULAR RESEARCHER FROM MCKINNON WINS AWARD
Gabriel Bernasochi, (a past student of McKinnon) who is a PhD student with the Department of Physiology at the University of Melbourne was encouraged to compete for an academic travel award. He was one of eight selected finalists who had to present their research to the Emerging Investigators Awards meeting.

Each had 20 minutes to present their work and take questions from the audience. First prize was awarded to Gabriel who presented his work on “aromatase transgenic male mouse hearts”. Well done on your achievement!
