CHILD AND YOUTH DIRECTORY

The Child and Youth Directory (childandyouthdirectory.com.au) is an easy to use website that lists over 300 services offered by more than 150 different agencies. The directory lists health and wellbeing services for  children, young people, parents and carers in Bayside, Glen Eira, Kingston, Port Phillip and Stonnington.

It aims to help children, young people and families, schools, agencies and services to:

• Improve awareness of the child, youth, and family services systems, and
• Increase opportunity for people to find the services they need.

ASPERGERS VICTORIA

If you have a child with Aspergers or High Functioning Autism, you are welcome to attend a meeting being held on the fourth Friday of the month from 10am – 12 noon at Carnegie Library and Community Centre, Boyd Room, 7 Shepparson Avenue, Carnegie.  For more information please contact Cristina: southern@aspergersvic.org.au or refer to the attached document.

NATIONAL RECONCILIATION WEEK

The City of Glen Eira will be celebrating National Reconciliation Week at Mallanbool Reserve in Murrumbeena on Sunday 31 May at 12 noon.  There will be a Country and Smoking Ceremony, an indigenous dance workshop and a bush tucker BBQ.  There will also be guided tours of natural flora and fauna with cultural and historical insights.
