EXTENDED LIBRARY HOURS

The library is now open at recess, as well staying open until 5:30pm Monday – Thursday.  It is good to see the increasing number of students using the extended library opening hours to complete their school work.  The library is a great quiet place to get your work done.  There are many little private spots, and, with the approach of winter, don’t forget we have an excellent heating system!

BRITANNICA

Did you know you can access the Encyclopedia Britannica via the library catalogue?  If you are at school you will be automatically logged in. 

If you are at home you will need to use the user name and password provided on the library home page.  The Britannica is an excellent starting point for most research projects.

OVERNIGHT LOAN BOOKS

The rules for borrowing from this section have changed slightly. Students can now borrow these books at any time during the day. (Previously students had to wait until the start of lunch to borrow).  Books will still be due back the next day.  The Overnight Loan section is where books for students studying VCE are kept. These books include alternate texts, study guides, etc.  Students are invited to come and browse this section as it contains many really useful items.

OVERDUE BOOKS

Emails have been sent out regarding overdue books.  If your books are overdue please come into the library to renew or return them as you cannot renew overdue items online.

The library has allowed students to borrow books over the end of year school holidays.  Unfortunately, many students have not returned these items.  Emails have been sent out to those students who need to return books.  Please return the book(s) immediately so others can enjoy it (them)!
