Peer Support Program
Recruitment has commenced for the 2021 Year 10 Peer Support Leaders.
The peer support program is a mentoring program where Year 10 students assist Year 7 students with settling into their new school. The purpose is to engage our new students in fun relationship building activities whilst also helping their transition from primary school to our community at MGSC. The Year 10s have the opportunity to enhance their leadership and group work skills. We believe the program fosters a sense of community within the school. It runs over six weeks and the Peer Support leaders also attend the Year 7 camp for one night and to help run activities that build relationships and confidence.
Selection will take place within the next week and the selected leaders will be informed as soon as possible.
