It is amazing to think we are already three weeks into our school year! Such a busy but indeed productive start for all of us.  Opening School Mass, School Photos, Rite of Acceptance for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Level Information Evening, Shrove Tuesday Pancakes  and Ash Wednesday Mass!! All this amongst the important aspects of settling into our learning routines, making new friends, meeting new teachers!   I congratulate everyone for their amazing efforts in settling into and working so positively within our school.

Today we begin the Season of Lent. Lent is a time  when we are challenged to reflect on how we can be supportive of and enrich the lives of others; our family, friends, school mates and work colleagues and particularly those who most need our love and care.  Lent reminds us of the challenge for stronger focus on prayer, a commitment to fasting whatever form that takes and a time for giving to others such that we grow closer to God and to one another.

Welcome

We welcome Mrs Beth Lacey who begins her work with us as Performing Arts teacher. We hope her time with us is most enjoyable and productive and full of support.

Have a great week everyone.

Take care.

Andrew
