Principal's News

Dear Families

This week our teachers have included their Curriculum Overviews in the newsletter. Curriculum Overviews give families an opportunity to see what their children will be learning over Term 4. They are broad (they need to be or no-one would have the time to read them!) Glancing at what broad learning areas will be taught give families the opportunity to identify areas of interest and expertise that they may be able to support and explore with their children or at home.

If you would like to discuss in more detail the specifics of learning areas to be covered this term, as always, please contact your child's teacher to make an appointment to discuss.

Revised Masterplan Parent Consult Date

Our Architects have had to re-schedule the Masterplanning Consult time with our parents from today until Thursday 14th November from 3-4pm in our school library. All Families are welcome to see where the future planning for our school is at and to give feedback.

Playgroup

It's wonderful to see our Playgroup growing  and so many local families taking the opportunity to build connections with other families. Anna, our teacher in charge of playgroup, has really enjoyed meeting so many new faces. A reminder that all are welcome to our playgroup which happens on Wednesday at 9am.

School Board Nominees

As mentioned last week, Board nominations are open for parents interested in joining our School Advisory Board. School Board is a great way to support our school by helping to shape the management and planning of the school. The Board consists of family representatives, a parish representative, our Parish Priest, Deputy Principal and Principal.

There is a commitment to attend 1-2 meetings per term which are held on Tuesday night at 7pm. If you think you might be interested in joining our Board, or have further questions, please speak to Lindy Smith or myself to discuss.

If you would like to nominate for the Board, please download and complete the brief nomination form below and return to the office by Friday, 1st of November.
