Principal's Report

Dear Families,

We have enjoyed a term filled with lots of learning, fun and laughter. I sincerely hope that you are all looking forward to the school holidays and spending time with your children without too many schedules to think about.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our staff who come in to school to support our children each day so that they can be the very best versions of themselves. The commitment of our staff to ensuring our programs are of the highest quality for our students is a credit to their professionalism.

I wish to extend my gratitude to all our families and carers in our community. Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding with the changes in our spaces over the last term, in relation to our administration area and its relocation to Building B. Our administration team will move back into Building A for the start of Term 3. I think once we are all back in our spaces, we will regain our grounding and move forward with confidence serving our community.

Student Reports / 3 Way Conferences and Student Portfolios:

All student reports are LIVE on COMPASS today. We hope that you find your child’s report informative and easy to understand. If parents/carers have any questions after reading their child’s report please contact your child’s classroom teacher.

Information about booking for a 3 Way Conference on Wednesday 12th of July was sent out on COMPASS last Friday. Please see information in this newsletter about how to book a time if you have not already done so. We look forward to seeing as many parents/carers as possible on Wednesday 12th of July.

Student Portfolios will go home with students on Wednesday 12th July, after the 3 Way Conference. Families will then have time to view and discuss the portfolios together with their child/children and complete a reflection piece to send back to their child’s classroom teacher, together with the Student Portfolio. The Student Portfolio is a companion to the student report and should be viewed as the evidence to the achievement within the school report.
