Current Student Achievements

Well done to the following students:

 

Year 7 Student Athlete Charlie Marsden (pictured above), who represented Tasmania with distinction at the U13 Australian Teams Tennis Championships recently. Held over four days at the magnificent facility of the KDV Sport Centre on the Gold Coast, the 3 person Tasmanian team held its own against teams from all states and territories, as well as teams from New Zealand and Oceania.

 

Year 9 student athlete Alex Lamprey represented Tasmania in the U16 National Basketball Championships recently .

 

This year's championships were held in Perth.

 

 

 

 

Year 11 student and College Vice Captain, Charlie Lennon represented Tasmania in the National Under 18 Championships  in Brisbane during March.

Tasmania 19.10 (124) defeated the Northern Territory (1.4 (10) in game 1. Congratulations and good luck for the rest of the Championships boys.

 

Athletics South U14 Men’s Athlete of the Year - Arden Petersen (Northern Suburbs) Arden is pictured with well-known athletics identity Gary Sayers.

 

Arden won the Under 13 race at the recent SATIS Cross Country Carnival and broke the Under 13 record for the 800m (2:10:16) and the 1500m  (4:32:81) at the 2023 SATIS Athletics Carnival. 

 

Congratulations to Year 7 student athlete Henry Willis was chosen to represent Australia in Italy at the Montesilvano Futsal Cup in the U13 division.
