First Aid 2023

Happy Holidays Families,

Many families have struggled to receive medical assistance at their local Doctors due to the overwhelming wait times. For some families urgent care is required and the hospital wait times are extensive thus leaving families unable to receive medical care.

The Government has opened 25 Priority Primary Care Centres throughout Victoria. These clinics are an in between care centre when you are unable to get into your Doctor.  For more information please refer to the links below.

Asthma

As we come to the holidays it is a good time to revisit your child's Asthma Action Plan is current and the office has the latest copy. Please ensure that this is uploaded to Operoo with current photo and Ventolin is within expiry date. A friendly reminder that all Action plans must be updated yearly with your GP.

You can download a form from https://asthma.org.au for your treating doctor to complete. Please make sure you have a current photo of your child on the plan.

For those students who have an Asthma Action Plan or an Allergy Plan please make sure you have a Student Health Support Plan in conjunction with your Action Plan. If you could please read/sign this form and hand write any adjustments required. This form does not need to be completed by your GP.  Could you please complete and return to the office at the beginning of Term 3 if you haven't already done so. Please refer to attachment below or feel free to collect one from the office.
