Student Reports

The Student Mid-year Reports will be available to parents from 3:00 pm on Friday 16 June. Please take the time to read these reports and share the information with your child. It is a time stop and reflect on the gains made by students in their learning journey.

Parent Teacher Interviews

Parents and carers are encouraged to make a booking for the Parent/Teacher Interviews which are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday next week. The interviews will be held online via Webex.

Year 1 Concert

On Wednesday, this week the Year 1 Concert was performed by students on stage in the Gym. This was a wonderful event which was thoroughly enjoyed by parents and family members. We were particularly pleased to see the younger students performing so confidently and enthusiastically in front of a very large audience. Congratulations and thank you to our Performing Arts teachers Laura Dimattina and Caroline Barron who guided and encouraged the students in Year 1.

Crossing Safety

The school crossing supervisors have asked me to remind parents and students that they must wait for the sound of the supervisor’s whistle before stepping onto the crossing. It is very disappointing to hear that some parents have been abusive to the crossing supervisors who are doing their job and protecting the safety of students and community members.

Facilities Improvements

The maintenance and improvement of the school’s facilities is an ongoing piece of work. The most recent work has been the replacement of roofing sections on buildings A and B. Additionally, shade sales have been installed on the Walden Field near the long jump pit. The padding should be installed over the next couple of weeks. Funding for these shade sales was through a Victorian Government initiative to create outdoor learning spaces.

Lunchtime Change – Friday 23 June
