In our English classes
Year 7
This term we have been working on some great projects. Year 7 have been working on some Slam and Black Out poetry.
Abathur Nazoraia in Ms Miller's Year 7G class, produced a great video example of a slam poem which can be viewed:
Year 8
Year 8 has been working on Protest Poetry, with some great posters handed in for our assessment. Tamara and Lucas from Ms Cupac's English class have given two great examples, as seen below.
Year 9
In Year 9, we have been studying New Worlds and some great assignments on migration to Australia have been handed in.
Below is an example below from Irin Byju of Year 9G (this is just a snippet from the end) who interviewed a family member:
Year 10
In Year 10 we have been looking at all different type of media and all students have enjoyed watching various documentaries to create our new reporter moments in our assessment task.
Year 11 and Year 12
For Year 11 and Year 12, we have been working on our final modules for the two year groups.
We also have our poster competition to be announced soon, and the new online elibrary to borrow books and read from home during lockdown.

It has been a great term of home learning, and we cannot wait for Term 4, after a well-earned break, with lots of reading (hopefully).
