Assistant Principal's Report
Recently I have been really lucky to be running some 'live lessons' via google classroom with 3/4M. It was so great to connect with the kids, and see some of the great work being done! All of us at ACPS are really missing the hustle and bustle of school, but we are so proud of the efforts and community spirit that our families are displaying.
RUOK?
Next Thursday 9 September is RUOK? Day. This is a national initiative to empower us all to check in on each other and manage mental health and wellbeing. The teachers will share some activities alongside their usual program on day, with lots of fun and engaging things planned. Remember, if you need any support through school, Sue and I are always just a phone call or email away.
Victorian High Ability Program
I'd like to congratulate the students who have been involved in this program during Term 3: Archie Andrew, Rosalie Austin, Hallie Bairstow, Thomas Holland, Logan Mackay and Paige O'Toole. They've shown great tenacity and determination to continue this work during remote learning, and no doubt have learned plenty of new skills and understandings.
Stay tuned, very soon we will be announcing the VHAP participants for Term 4!
