This week, during remote learning, the senior students created indigenous art that shows a range of symbols often used in aboriginal paintings.

POSSUM SKIN CLOAKS were worn by the Bunwurrung people for warmth in winter. The skin side of the possum skin cloak was decorated with art. Seniors have drawn up a possum skin shape and used ancient aboriginal symbols to recreate a possum skin coat.

Remote learning in Year 1

Students have been learning about Australian Coins, the Olympics, and telling stories.

A RED PANDA has been sighted in the Year 1 classrooms while everyone was learning at home!

The Year 1 students had fun writing and drawing about their furry friend.
