This week we would like to share an iPad tip for all:

 

How can I see two apps or screens at once?

Slide-over mode enables you to quickly use another app without leaving the current one. Your iPad will remember which apps you use in this mode for faster switching. 

  1. To use it, open the first app and then slide up from the bottom to show the Dock.
  2. Touch and hold the icon for the second app and drag it upwards; it’ll now appear in its own long panel. 
  3. To move to Split-view mode, you then drag this long panel over to the left or right side of your screen, whichever side you want the second app on, and release to open it there. 
  4. If the long panel won’t split the screen when dragging, that means the app doesn’t support Split-view mode. It will however, allow the long panel to hover over your first app in Slide-over mode.
