VET applications 2022
Applications for VET courses for 2022 will be opening soon. An expression of interest form has been posted on Compass.

VET stands for Vocational Education and Training and focuses on practical skills, capabilities and associated knowledge in specific industry areas.
If you think you are interested in completing a VET, please remember the following:
- It is a single subject that students can choose to complete as part of their VCAL/VCE
- Most VET subjects are offered at external institutions on Wednesdays and Fridays
- Students may miss some of their BSC classes on their VET day and are required to catch up on missed work
- A VET subject is generally 2 years long – completed over Year 11 & 12
- A student MAY be approved to study a VET subject as an Advanced Placement in Year 10 & 11
- Courses require some additional payments
- You must meet a certain level of academic and behavioral standard
