Unfortunately, we had another setback with the commencement of Winter IPSSO. The new date for starting our competition will now be 12 August. Our teams have been finalised and both the students and coaches are excited to represent the College against the schools in our IPSSO Competition.

Grade Sport

The AFL will be delivering their 5-week school program on Wednesdays during Grade Sport. This will commence in Week 3. No equipment from our students will be required for these sessions.

Athletics

On Monday 31 August (Week 7) we will be holding our Athletics Carnival at the College grounds. Although there will be no Diocesan or Mackillop Athletics for 2020, it will be good to get our results for Athletics at a College level and to have healthy competition alive in the Junior School. To assist with the running of the Carnival in Week 7, there will be trials and results of certain events in the weeks leading up to the Carnival. These events will be:

800m
Shot Put
High Jump
Discus
Long Jump

These trials/results will be conducted in PE lessons.

This year for the K-2 Athletics Carnival we will welcome SportsPro to the College. They will provide fun modified athletic events and tabloid sports for Kindergarten to Year 2 students to participate in on the day.
