Enrolments - current and future students reminder 

 Current families who are planning to send a sibling to begin Prep at BPS in 2021.  Enrolment forms can be downloaded from the Brighton Primary School website.  

 Completing these forms assists with accurate planning for classes and staffing for 2021.

If you know of any families who may be interested in attending BPS in 2021 please ask them to visit our school website enrolment page which has been updated to include our latest school brochures and enrolment forms.

Is your child returning to BPS in 2021? 

A Compass Insight has been set up to assist us with our planning and ensure we have the necessary staffing in place for the 2021 school year, we would really appreciate it if you could please complete the questions outlined as soon as possible.

Home Learning 2.0

The entire BPS staff have been working incredibly hard to prepare for remote learning 2.0. The feedback from our Term 2 survey and conversations with families upon the return to school highlighted our school community’s largely positive experience with remote learning. We thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with us. We have used this information to inform many of our plans moving forward. 

We will continue to provide:

• A weekly overview of your child’s learning distributed via iNewsletter and Compass
• A daily schedule of learning tasks focused on reading, writing and mathematics via Seesaw or Google classroom
• Opportunities for live teaching via Google Meet targeted to mostly small group sessions
• Feedback on student learning
• A range of Specialist* learning activities which can be found on the daily schedule
• Any updates to changing conditions via Compass
