100 days of Year 7

Monday 3 August marked the 100th day in secondary school for Year 7 students.

It has certainly been an interesting year and we are so impressed with their positive attitude and their resilience. They were fortunate enough to participate in many school activities throughout Term 1. They will have fond memories from Year 7 Arrabri Camp, Swimming Carnival and have extended their friendships through the Peer Support Program.

Did you know that the Junior School students have spent 51 days in the school grounds at MGSC?

Lunchtime Activities

The past two weeks the Junior School team have been trailing lunchtime activities with the students which has been a great success. Year 7 and 8 Students and their teachers were invited to join a Google Meet to play an interactive game of Kahoot.

The first session was a Kahoot on Movies (Disney & Pixar).

Congratulations to Gabby Taylor, 7E, who scored 29/30 winning the first Kahoot! Gabby has been awarded house points.

Go Mackellar!!

Tuesday 11 August is the next lunchtime activity. This will be Kahoot on 2019 and 2020 Pop Music.
