Remote Instrumental Music Lessons Opportunity

Mazenod College has a vibrant, active, successful, and productive music department boasting tuition from some of Melbourne’s finest and renowned musicians and educators.

With the cancellation of sporting activities and alike, there has never been a better time to start learning an instrument. Students learning an instrument over the remote teaching session have expressed their gratitude in having some “normality and purpose” in their lives and the personal growth in the students has been very exciting. The work carried out during the first remote session has allowed students to be more confident and competent in their performance and greater prowess on their instrument regardless of the amount of time they have been learning.

The music department is extremely proud of the quality of student learning and engagement that took place during the first remote teaching session and based on that success, is wanting to offer these opportunities to all members of the Mazenod Community.

In particular, Mazenod would like to offer a free introductory, trial period for instrumental or vocal lessons for Year 7 students who are currently not undertaking music lessons.

There is limited availability on some instruments.

There has never been a better time to enrol into the music program, as students in the program are experiencing a great sense of purpose, achievement, and value.
