Around The Primary

Dear Parents

We were blessed with fine weather for the IPSHA Cross Country Carnival on Thursday. It has been wonderful to see the enthusiasm the students have for this event and their encouragement and support of each other has been most admirable.  I extend thanks to Mr Williams for all his hard work in preparing our energetic team for this event.

Congratulations to all our students who participated with such keenness and challenged themselves with their individual performances.

Thank you to parents for your diligence in keeping children at home when they are sick. This is particularly important at this time. Please continue to keep the people of Victoria in your prayers as they work through the next stage of the battle against COVID 19.  This must be such a difficult time for them; especially those who have children to educate at home.  How fortunate we are to live in Western Australia!

Parents who are waiting with Pre-Kindy and Kindy children for older siblings are reminded to wait on the lawn area near the Pre-Primary gate with their children. Please avoid having the children running around outside Year 4 before school or at the end of the day. Parents are responsible for their young children and need to be particularly cautious at these busy times, especially when walking to the nearby carpark. Safety of all our students is always our priority.

Kind regards,

Antoinette De Pinto

Chopstick Clatter

The Year 3’s have been very busy in their Japanese lessons learning about chopstick etiquette and how to correctly use the chopsticks. They have now taken their chopsticks home to do lots of practising!
