Home Learning in Year 1/2

Our Year 1/2 students have been working so hard during Home Learning this term.  This week in Religion, they have been learning about the story of ‘The Lost Sheep’.  In Literacy, our Year 1/2 students have been focusing on nonfiction texts and completed a venn diagram comparing the features of fiction and nonfiction texts. In Maths, the focus has been on mass and our students have been busy comparing the mass of objects from around their homes. They have been learning about healthy eating during Inquiry and spent some time creating a healthy lunch box.  Of course, like all levels, our Year 1/2's are enjoying continuing their learning in Library, Italiano, Performing Arts, Physical Education, Visual Arts and Digital Technologies as well! Here is a snapshot of their work...
