ACTING PRINCIPAL

Working at Red Cliffs Secondary College this year has been an enjoyable experience. I am proud to have led the school I once attended and to meet, and work with, the next generation of students from my hometown. Thank you all for the support. 

David Browne will be back in the Principal Chair at the beginning of term 3. 

Kate Archibald was successfully appointed to the role of School Wide Positive Behaviour Support Coach for the Mallee Area team and will be away from Red Cliffs Secondary for the first part of term 3. Paul Bamford was successfully appointed to a position at Mildura Senior College, to begin at the start of next term. Congratulations and best wishes to both of you. 

Today we practiced an evacuation drill. Staff and students did an amazing job in following direction and evacuating in a calm and ordered manner. A text message was sent to all parents/guardians confirming the evacuation was complete. If you missed the message it would be worth contacting the school to confirm contact details are correct. 

Next term is shaping up to be a busy one with the tertiary camp, year 7 camp and snow trip taking place in August. Please check Compass for details of these and contact the school if requiring further information.  

Enjoy the holidays. Be safe, be respectful and learn something new over the two weeks. School returns Monday 12th of July.
